About Us
School Mision and Vision
OUR VISION: At Kingsmead Schools, we guide every child to discover their path, empowering them to become world-class leaders of integrity, vision, and impact.
OUR MISSION: Kingsmead Schools, a Christian-based organization, is committed to delivering a holistic education through the CBC curriculum. We provide a nurturing environment and a dedicated team to help every child grow into a well-rounded individual.
Our History
We are a Christian-based institution. Our first campus, Kingsmead Junior Academy, was established in 2006 by the late Pastor Christopher Mburu, along Limuru Road in Ruaka Town. His vision was to nurture a God-fearing community and raise leaders who would positively impact society. His mission began with the child, inspired by our guiding principle: 'Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it.' In 2023, due to a growing population, our second campus, Kingsmead Junior Secondary, was born. As Isaiah 54:2 instructs, 'Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back, lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.' The stage is set for Kingsmead the Vineyard in 2025, and we remain grateful to God for His continued faithfulness.
Our Values
Leadership
We aim to be tomorrow’s leaders by practicing leadership in our school community today.
Accountability
We hold ourselves accountable for our own actions, admit when we failed our own standards, and always strive to be our best version of ourselves.
Appreciation
We express gratitude whenever we can, appreciating our parents, teachers, and the kindness of our friends for all they do.
Critical Thinking
We encourage critical thinking and teach students to be analytical, preparing them as lifelong learners ready to solve the challenges of the 21st century.
Goal-Oriented
We’re a goal-oriented school. We set ourselves personal goals that are challenging but achievable. We work every day to meet our goals.
Open-Mindedness
We embrace new experiences and challenges, staying open to changing our minds when presented with new evidence.
Preparedness
We arrive at school ready to learn, equipped with the right resources and a positive mindset to engage with our work every day.
